Hello Soccer Families,

We hope everyone had a good holiday season, are healthy, and managing during these times.  While there is still uncertainty around youth sports for the spring, we need to move forward with planning for the Spring 2021 season due to timelines for the Travel program and team commitments for the districts we play in.  We will provide updates on our website and/or via email as information is released by CJSA and the state governor.

Spring 2021 soccer registration is now open for our Travel and In-House programs.

Registration for Travel U9-U14 (Born 2006-2012): will be done using the Sports Connect registration site due to CJSA state requirements.

  • From the PSC Home page - Select the 'Register: Travel' button to be brought to the Sports Connect registration site or click HERE - Select LOGIN - then go to 'My Account' or 'Registration Info' links to begin.
  • Note the early timelines for all Travel age players (Born 2006-2012).

Registration for In-House U4-U8 (Born 2013-2017): will be done using this website (League Athletics) as it is easier for the club to manage.

  • Select the 'Register: In-House' button on the right side to be brought to the League Athletics registration site or go HERE.

Please reference the table below for registration deadlines and discounts:

  • Note the deadline to register for the Travel Program (U9-U14) is earlier than In-House.  No exceptions can be made after February 14th due to timelines set by the districts we play in.  Travel season starts 4/10 pending weather & field conditions.

Pomperaug Soccer Club Uniform & Fan Gear Information

Uniform & Fan Gear store Vendor:

Moving forward the club will use Soccer.com to provide our uniform kits and fan gear options including shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, hats, and more.

  • The direct link to the Pomperaug Soccer Club Online Fan Gear store on soccer.com is HERE.
  • Families will have more variety of fan gear products and customization options available.
  • See the additional details about Soccer.com and benefits to our soccer families HERE.
  • For Uniforms, the club will have a new style of Red jersey for the Fall 2020 season.  All players have the option to purchase the New Red jersey (along with any replacement uniform kit pieces) but it is NOT required if you have a PSC uniform already.
  • Details are sent out by the Uniform coordinator for both New and Returning Travel players.
  • The PSC Uniform Coordinator will setup your player and assign a jersey # in the soccer.com system before you can place your uniform kit order.  Please contact pscuniforms@outlook.com with any questions.
  • The direct link to Pomperaug Soccer Club Uniform Kit on soccer.com is HERE

Uniform Replacement Cycle:

As with many retailers, every style has a shelf-life based on the manufacturer.  We have been provided the following guidance for planning when to replace our uniform which applies to all the major manufactures including Adidas who we use.

  • Generally, a uniform style is available from Adidas for two full years, this would cover 4 soccer seasons.  Our current uniform started in Fall 2018, then to Spring 2019, then the following Fall 2019/Spring 2020 seasons.
  • Our uniform refresh cycle moving forward will be Fall 2020 and then again for Fall 2022, and so on.
  • The good news is for Fall 2020 we will only need to replace the Red Jersey.
    • There will also be a new style of short/socks but they will continue to be Red, therefore existing pairs will match close enough to be reused if they still fit.
    • The Gray jersey will continue to be available through Spring 2022.

New Uniform Kit starting Fall 2020-Spring 2022 season can be seen - HERE.

General Information - Why Two Websites?

Hello Soccer Families,

Thank you for your patience as we have worked on the new website platform in conjunction with the CJSA.  Due to some ongoing issues and limitations we have 2 websites available and this will continue for future seasons.  See the details below.

  • www.pomperaugsoccerclub.com is our primary website running on League Athletics for league communications, team management, scheduling of practices & games by your coaches, email reminders.  This site is also being used for registration of our In-House Program age groups ONLY.
    How to access the site:
    • You can see your teams schedule at any time by using the menus on the top menu bar under 'Team'
    • Use your existing login - if you do not recall select the '?' and reset your password.
    • New Parents/Coaches - an account was generated using the email address that was in the Stack Sports registration system for your player or if you registered for an In-House program.  Select 'Sign In' link on the top right, then select the '?' and reset your password.
    • Information was imported into this website and you may not see roster photos for all players, this is OK.
    • If you need to update communication information, please update on both websites.
  • clubs.bluesombrero.com/pomperaugsoccer - is the newest website platform called 'Sports Connect.  The Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA) has moved to yet another website platform away from Stack Sports which unfortunately had multiple issues from day one when introduced in the Fall 2018 season.  Each soccer club in the various districts across CT need to submit their Travel teams/players using this platform due to CJSA requirements.
    • This is the site used just for Travel registration activities as of Fall 2020.  The 'Register: Travel' button above redirects you to this site.
    • This is the master location of the player/coach photos & age verification which is done with CJSA.
    • This is the master location of the status of your account and communication settings.
    • If you need to update communication information, please update on both websites.

Contact your coach if you have additional questions.
Thank you,
Pomperaug Soccer Club
